MYUNGSOO YI
Introducing an artist from South Korea who skillfully recreates virtual spaces on canvas, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and childhood memories. Through the use of traditional Korean paper, known as Hanji, they layer and burn the material to create intricate patterns and textures, each telling a unique story. Their work reflects a deep connection to the past, merging old sentiments with contemporary themes, much like building relationships through bilateral communication.
